Actor and Writer Stephen Hart Presents
A story of survival,
determination
and belief
Directed by Richard Pepper
I was born in Birmingham in 1972 to a Puerto Rican father and English mother. I was adopted at ten weeks old and was raised by a schizophrenic, step mother in Glasgow. I was faced with a childhood that included physical, sexual and emotional abuse, homelessness and child protective custody
Shadowed Dreamer tells a riveting story of resilience in the face of many forms of abuse and abandonment
Always believing there was more out there for me I refused to deny my dreams going on to become a successful West End actor, Youtuber and Public speaker - working with The Terrence Higgins Trust, Mankind & 1In6, The National Aids Trust, as well as being a London ambassador for Stamp Out Spiking. Also appearing as an advocate on chat shows, Britains Got Talent and National News Programs
During this presentation I will share the compelling story of my life, by sharing my story I encourage all of you to hold onto your dreams despite life’s challenges
After the show there will be a Q&A where there will be an opportunity for dialogue and a chance to share experiences within the audience.
